I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't believe it when I read that it was Jacquie's first book!!! Way to hit it out of the park on the first try! I was hooked by page 3 which is always a good thing! You really get to know and love each character in the book, even the household help. I just really liked this book it was soooo romantic! I have read thousands of romance novels and this rate waaaay at the top! Just wanted to give my two cents. I'm going to go buy Whirlwind wedding now...it looks good too!

Today, I started reading Whirlwind Wedding in the doctor's office, and I'm sure the other patients in the office thought me rather strange, because I kept laughing out loud. I found myself laughing out loud when I read Red Roses Mean Love. I can offer no higher compliment than that to an author. I read alot of romance novels, but the ones that can make me laugh, and at the same time curl my stomach due to the tension between the 2 characters, ranks VERY high on my list!

loved your book. refreshing, funning and so romantic. your characters are as refreshing as a spring shower. In today's romance genre, most authors don't take to develop their characters as you have. I find that in those books romance and humor are pushed aside for more historical facts or sex scenes. Pity, but I enjoyed your book enormously. Thanks.

couldn't believe this is the first book you wrote.. there is something quite different from the other (veteran) romance writers style, i don't know what it is, but i like it. is there a 'notify' list for upcoming releases?? i will be getting the other 2 i see listed. most certainly will pass the book along for others to enjoy. it was really strange, but i could relate more to these characters thoughts than any others i have read. their thoughts/actions mirrored some of my own... deja vu.. thanks (did that make sense, who knows at this hour)

I just loved this book. The local bookstore FINALLY got it in. Still they don't have KISS THE COOK. I read it in one might! I have never read a book about a woman having visions. I did read a romance book that had a character having visions, but he was 1/2 Cherokee. It was an original concept and I just loved it!! I hope she writes a book on Robert and her friend, Alberta.

It is intelligent , witty, warm ,sexy, and I never guessed the who done it.What a wonderful family. What a great hero. The book is so human. It leaves a person with the desire to move right on to the next page to see what develops and how the heroine is going to save the hero. I like the characters you have developed as servants to the heroine. They sound like they could be an intigral part of the story and the development of the personality of the heroine. My wife and I have read several hundred romantic books. We have learned which authors can keep a reader involved in the characters. Based on the bit that I have read, I would probably buy this book when it appears on the shelf.
